I'm considering having my Nipples pierced and would welcome any advice anyone could offer on the subject.
I've always enjoyed playing with nipple clamps (particularly the clover leaf ones) and have seen a delightful looking spiral nipple torture device made by fetters (http://www.fetters.co.uk/nipple-whirls-per-pair/ ) which are designed to be used with a piercing (though for short term play could be used with a surgical needle).
I'm mindful that with the sort of use I want from the piercing, that they probably need to be fairly well into the nipple, would that be correct?
I'm also interested in recommendations on where to have it done in the Bristol area, cost isn't much of a consideration, I'd rather have them done by someone with decent experience and a clean environment and pay for it accordingly.
What sort of healing period would people expect to see, and any after-care advice?
How long after piercing would people recommend before playing with them?

We do some play piercings, nipples and elsewhere. I would love to have my nipples pierced so will be watching this thread with interest. 2nd worse healing time for a piercing ever for me, after tummy button. Over a year into having them done they do still occasionnaly weep or bleed. Salt water is essential at first, in my experience, and i give it the occasional spritz of Savlon spray if they get funny now. They need care and attention for about 4-6 months at least, but may still need attention afterwards, as mine have.
I would wait until they don't hurt just by being there. For me that was about two weeks. He took things easily at first, but we have used clover clamps on them since with no negative reactions. I'd be weary of using weights of clamps with them in, but others may have positive experiences with this.

Did you use flat bars when yours were done @Mia? or curved ones? Most people work around their psychological demons, we harness ours up and take them out for a ride. | |||

Everyone is different. I had my nipples pierced and over 18/24 months later they still had not healed and I had to take them out. There was no way you would have been able to "play" with them in any sense and if anyone had put a nipple clamp near them they would have ended up with a broken nose. Should be noted that I've healed other piercings very easily, I think it's just the location of them that caused me a problem. |
