Preview problems. (8)

When I hover over a weblog or board thread title in the list, the preview of what's inside appears. This didn't cause me a problem until the past few days. I don't know if something has changed but now the preview pops up so fast that I don't get a chance to click on the title to open it up. I sometimes have to try two or three times to get it to work.

I'm using Google Chrome on a MacBook if that's any help. (And no snide comments are required about the difference between Apple and Windows, thank you!)

I'm having the same experience intermittently on Safari using either Smart phone app on my iphone or just Safari via my iMac (Safari 5.0.6)

Whilst it's not the end of the world it does mean I'm having to actually go in and read blogs & threads only to wish I hadn't.

Ooh in that case we are both experiencing different problems as a result of preview. Sorry for the confusion I may have caused. Preview is just intermittently not working if I hover over a thread

OK this is odd. The preview thingy pops up right over the bit I'm trying to click on, which means I have to try again, and click really fast to get the page to start to open before the preview blocks my access. But sometimes it appears above (not over - as in blocking) the title I'm trying to click on, leaving it free for me to click. It used to always do this but seems to have 'moved' recently.

Am I imagining all of this?

Try reloading the page and maximising the window. That might fix it.

If it persists, better report to admin, they might need to upgrade their wz_tooltip.js

The answer is still 42... Don't Panic!

It's been happening now for a couple of weeks. And by posting here - on Website Help - I thought I was reporting it to Admin!

Today it is OK, the preview box isn't blocking access to the title, up to last night it was still doing it. Can anyone suggest anything that either I, or IC, might be doing to make this happen?
