The M42 munch on the first Monday of the month, everyone welcome at either or both!

The main munch is from 7ish at Hopwood Park Services at junction 2 of the M42. The services are off the motorway, so can be accessed from either direction, and also from the A441. This is convenient for all of the West Midlands including Birmingham, Coventry, Worcestershire and Warwickshire. As you come in the front door turn immediately right and we are usually on the leather chairs at the far end by the window – look out for the obligatory A-Z. New munchers always welcome, and if you want a meet and greet or further details memo me @miss_plum. Dress is definitely vanilla, as this is a fairly busy public place. Hot drinks and snacks are available at KFC, Burger King, Starbucks, Waitrose and WHSmith. Please note that there is a 2 hour parking restriction.

The pre-munch carvery is at the Marlbrook (Toby Carvery) on the A38 Bromsgrove between junction 1 of the M42 and junction 4 of the M5, postcode B61 0HR for your satnavs. We gather in the raised section at the far left of the bar from 5ish, and go through into the restaurant at 6.00 sharp. Please post or memo if you'd like to join us for the carvery so we know how many places to ask for when we arrive. The food is lovely and very reasonable at only £5.75!
