I'm not a shift worker, I'm a full time carer to someone who cannot be left alone. I work 162 hours a week. Cuts out almost all parties but I do run a bdsm munch on one of my four 6 hour free slots I get every month.

Yeah, nights are bad news, not had a Friday off for ten years and miss loads of events. Just have to grin and bear it as it pays the bills.

Shift work, you lucky sods. Try cabbing, being on call 24/7, and the regular school run as well! It really buggers up Friday and Saturday evenings. Lucky Ann's Daytime parties are a possibility these days! Supplier of classic motor omnibuses for weddings and all sorts of events in the south of England.

I love this thread! Working evenings and weekends sucks balls in terms of being able to go to BDSM events with ease. The upside of it is that I've yet to think of something that is both interesting and lends itself to more sociable hours so you win some you lose some I guess. It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice
