Get a decent haircut, and ask the girl to go to the pictures with you. Oh, and your mother is talking bollocks. Burns Night is on Jan 28th - at a secret professional dungeon location right in the very middle of Central London!

I agree with this too...i was far too stubborn, opinionated and willful back then to listen to advice....hang on a minute...not much has changed even now

As already mentioned, there is no way i would have listened to most people, or my self when a teenager, but just a few things that come to mind anyway are to dont be shy get involved Be nice to the ugly girls as they really do turn out to be the the pretty ones when your older Stop worrying about being the ugly ducking yourslef Think more before you speak Dont underestimte how often other people pretend they know what they are talking about, when they dont. The world has alot more to offer then you think, so dont wait too long before having a proper look to see whats out there for you. Always take time to take a step back, and consider other peoples point of view
and last but not least, your not that strange for wanting to be tied up after all

I'd make me listen - I'd seen enough Dr Who by the age of 12 to understand 'I'm you from thirty five years in the future, here to stop you doing what I did'. And the 12 year old me would listen, and go on and make a whole different bunch of mistakes. That book* that you read at 18 and related to so very much is much more of a minority interest than you realised. It would have stopped a lot of misunderstanding and mismatching....and a whole lot of shagging the wrong men! *The Story of O The nice lady with the whip. Everyone has the right to be equal unless and until they choose to relinquish it. We call it play but it isn't a game - it's people's lives.

What the felt happened in the cinima did happen. It was not your fault. It is painfull but if you talk to someone about it now it will make the next 15 years so much more better.

These get quite easy with a bit of thought - but then hindsight is always 20/20: "She might be thinking just the same as you're thinking!" |
