Just remember to obey the rules about not using Facebook or the internet, as two jurors have been imprisoned recently! |

Done it twice - interesting both times, harrowing the second (one case that was just so nasty). I found it wonderfully life affirming - in my experience the random selection of humanity gets into the Jury room, and argues and struggles to "do the right thing". Didn't always agree with the others, didn't follow their logic sometimes, but never doubted everyone wanted to do the right thing. I trust a jury over and above anything else in the legal system... YMMV See worlds on worlds compose one universe, observe how system into system runs |

I have to agree with you Siglorel, the cross mix of people chosen was very interesting at the time and then when in the Jury room it was like "Casey's court" at times, people with world life experiences and others who just watched the television to gain life experience. I was outraged and mixed up and amazed all at the same time, very confusing. However I think the max amount of times should be set at 3 separate visits plus as many cases in one month...........and everyone in the land should at least go once in their lifetime, depending on the right criteria set. Anyone have any further views? A casual stroll through the lunatic asylum shows that faith does not prove anything. |
