Mini mel had a pal stay over last night. A pair of eight year olds, well you can imagine, they giggled and chattered all through the night – had a fab time.
One thing is worrying me.
The pal found mini mel's guitar and was messing about on it, making up tunes and songs. Only problem was that she was following me around the house singing songs. Even as I was preparing dinner last night, I was serenaded by this little girl. She's a lovely girl and I'm really happy mini mel has such a nice friend.
Then this morning she was stood gazing at me as I was pottering around the kitchen, then she suddenly blurted out 'I love you'.
Now I don't know what I've got at the moment, but it sure is worrying me – I'm sure if I could bottle it I'd be rich.
Can I just ask my fellow girlies? No matter how strong the urge, please, no more declarations of love. A girl just cannot cope with such attention.
