Anyone got any good resources for enthusiastic rope novices?

DVDs/ torrents/ books/ sites/ whatever...

Or alternatively, anyone up for giving us a private masterclass...?

I found these two websites helpful when I first started playing with rope:

http://twistedmonk.com/video.htm

http://www.knottyboys.com/code/downloads.php.

But nothing beats getting someone that is happy to let you experiment on them

The Milton Keynes Fetish Night starts off with a short rope workshop where everyone can enjoy some rope work if the want to. http://www.informedconsent.co.uk/uk/club_events/...

You can even volunteer as the rope bunny!

If you want to do more rope work during the night talk to @therigger He will be able to offer more than just the basics including lots of safety advice.

Have fun.

The pleasure, I fear, will be all mine.

After last months St Leonards pub takeover turned into a bit of a rope free for all. I've been asked to organise another rope workshop for Wednesday 8th February. Everyone welcome! :)

I keep on going back to this one to practice things I thought I had learnt years ago :-)

I recommend these! Great fun and very relaxed.

Deffo the twisted monk website for basic structures has helped me. I have also approached a great ropey person who has agreed to give me some coaching in the 'near' future.

:)

I do not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.
