Not just you, I want to parellel this with fantasy, there are things that I have dreamed about that I would never actually want to live out but that are erotic in the safety of my head with my rabbit.
I think someone else said it well, its about the dominant being in control, women are no more or less violent or more or less likely to lose control than a man. Any good dominant will be able to tell where the line is and keep behind it. |

There's a world of difference between what you see in Fet porn, and what might go on in a normal session - apart from if you're ChrisP of course!
A lot of what you see is rigged up. A lot of what you see will never be done by your average BDSM couple. But enjoy the fantasies! A good domme wil talk to you, read you and not push you into the extremes bfore you're ready, and accept that some people never are.

Oi you. I'm perfectly normal i'll have you know. All my voices say so...... |

Men can be more dangerous since they often have a greater tendency to violence and irreponsibility but a woman who is genuinely sadistic has the potential to hurt you more and longer (according to my experience). Having inspired such a woman (of whom there are not as many as enthusiastic submissives would like to imagine) with the idea that I am a total masochist who wants to suffer beyond my limits, I reaped a whirlwind which was implacable, persistently vicious and extremely shocking. (Though of course I would do it again tomorrow.) The persistence and patient application of suffering over some hours was striking and rather different from a male attitude and the cruelty was undiluted. I wonder too whether there is a basic hostility to men that somtimes comes into play - looking at some men, I could well understand it.

Interesting.
Distilled from a conversation with a widely experienced female former police officer: "Women are a lot more vicious than men, particularly to other women. In a fight, one on one, most men will use enough force to put their opponent down. But women know how to hurt, especially how to hurt other women, and they usually hurt way more than is necessary to 'win'." Totally agree with this!
There is the fun and the cruelty element but also, the domme (and of course both parties to an extent) have to be sane and responsible.

I think that if you dream about impossible things for long enough - and none of us can stop ourselves doing that - in the end we will often be able to nerve ourselves to do them. Indeed, sometimes we won't be able to avoid begging for them. Unless that's just me. (Ambitious dommes please note!)

The thing I find interesting is the automatic linking of cruelty with beauty. For example, people are often disappointed when they see that Countess Batory was actually short, with big ears, and a bit old. |

Is there also something around some women being very good at mental torture a well as the physical? I see the interweaving of the two as vital (for me anyway) and its something that isn't really portrayed in Fet porn very well.

Cruelty in a woman
I am fascinated by the idea of sadism and cruelty in a woman. I am fascinated in the idea of surrender to such a woman. However, I have noticed, when fantasizing about such things, that the degree of cruelty and sadism a woman might be capable of, is a too edged sword.
Sometimes, one drifts off into a fantasy of lust, where the more cruel and dangerous a woman appears to be, the more fascinating she becomes. Sometimes, however, I watch some video of some poor slave being abused and I think, this is surely too much. I surely would not want this. The image of those women who are capable of inflicting that level of suffering is both seductive and terrifying (terrifying, as in inspiring thoughts, which can be summed up in the words, "stay well away from this, you'd never survive it!") in roughly equal measure. What is more, something (some fate one might fall prey to) which is terrifying and to be utterly avoided at one moment, can in moments of fascinated reverie, seem a thing most devoutly to be wished!
What are other people's views? Are their others out there for whom women, who are terrifying, who one knows one should stay well away from (for the sake of one's sanity and personal safety) are, at other moments, completely and utterly seductive?
Why are we human beings so strange, so complicated? Is it just me?

An excellent post and no I suspect that you are 'not alone. It is safer to keep this as fantasy rather than reality though; perhaps arrange for a session where you can get the perception of the totally cruel woman with a degree of safety. A total psycho can 'live' in the body of a beautiful woman just as much as it can 'live' in anywhere else. Try not to confuse the 'woman' appeal with the psycho element.

Actually, if you want a relationship with an entity that is beautiful, soft and warm, yet totally uncaring and psychotically cruel and sociopathic, you could always just get a cat ...
