For me, tone and volume of voice is key. That low tone, slowly becoming softer so that the sub has to strain just slightly to hear what's being said; attention focussed solely on the words. The power of the voice can set the scene, can excite, can punish and can most certainly control. I work hard to achieve that as it's a vital part of 'the package'. | |

For me, It's not always a question of someone sounding dominant as such (with the intention of being dominant), just certain deep yet soft tones that do weird things to me. Sometimes I end up severely embarrassing myself. The other day I was visiting a friend and teased them about their dust covered television screen, all they said was 'yeah, it could do with a clean' in a rather nonchalant manner, yet suddenly I found myself crawling across the room, having grabbed a duster I spotted and began polishing the screen like some sort of voice activated robot. It wasn't until I'd given it a good polishing that I suddenly thought 'What the HELL am I doing'?! Before visiting this place, incidents such as this just seemed like amusing little....happenings, now I'm starting to feel paranoid that everything I do is somehow related to me being Subby McSub from Sub Street.
