OMG what have I done... for days now I have been looking on my larger bars and thinking how good they would look in my nipples...
Yes you guessed it, I took off the balls, dipped the bar into savlon and pushed it through, the first one was not easy but far easier than the second bar, because that one was no way straight... So I dipped the bar again in the savlon and pushed, shoved, swapped sides and did the same till in the end they were through... getting the balls on was fun too as the savlon made then all slippy but as they say no pain no gain ![]()
Now as I am awaiting my guests, I am thinking OMG they still hurt so hopefully they will settle down and I will start bathing them each day in sea salt and tippid boild water to help them heal.
Why is it they far hurt more me doing them than when I got pierced, yes maybe the extending bar would have been better to use but no not me.... lol

Ooooh... hope you aren't too sore. I had a similar problem due to impatience when I decided to change from a bar to a ring before it was completely healed. I commandeered my friend/neighbour to help but all I did was manage to terrify the poor thing as I swore and cursed at her as she tried to get it through. She conceded defeat after five minutes. Eventually managed it some months later but made it bleed and had to start all over again with the salt water and antiseptic cream.
I have subsequently decided to stay with rings. I think it hurts more when you do it yourself because of hesitation and fumbling apprehensively. I agree with the professional part and they have settled ok now thankfully. My were healed and never bleed but i will be using the salt water for a while just in case. I think I went up 2 sizes and not one so maybe thats why they hurt more but they do look better. However I do like you want a ring in more than a bar as I think they look more sexy and far more visatile too. Thank you.
