To sit quietly at his feet, just being.

Making him a drink, just when he wants one, no need to be asked.

Remembering things he has said, even if he doesn't and bringing him small things that relate to it.

Making delicious food for him and cleaning up afterwards.

Allowing him space when he needs it, even when I would rather talk with him.

Not pushing for more than he chooses to give, and accepting what he does give.
