If you have the implant in your arm, will it be aggravated if you find yourself bound up tight in rope or grabbed by the arm? If you have the coil fitted will it be affected by vigorous sex or play with insertion toys? Questions I didn't feel like asking my doctor *grin | ||

Saw no one had answered and guessed i can impart my knowledge to you (though ovbiously your doctor is always the best to ask) No and No not unless you mean insertables into your uterus. which is BAD, dont do it! or unless by insertables you mean attaching a sharpened 12" dong onto your spare pneumatic drill. I've got the Mirena It's excellent - there is a tiny bit of thread from the cervix, but nothing happens to it during sex. Periods become minimal, which is an added bonus.

Hi, The answer to both questions is No & No. Such questions to your GP might possibly be recorded under 'LifeStyle' and if so, could be disclosed to a Life Insurance Company (if you ever should apply for a life insurance policy e.g. mortgage application) or to legal eagles if you should ever apply for compensation, for example, an occupational injury or even a RTA (as opposed to any recreational sex injury). So, always make sure to tick the box on the insurance application form so that you have an opportunity to read (and object/correct) your medical report BEFORE your GP sends it back to the insurance company or opposing lawyers. In my opinion, it's always better to discuss such 'LifeStyle' questions with your 'Private' kink-friendly medic. Medical students now have several lectures on BDSM, etc, so they have some basic knowledge and can better understand the 10% of patients who might wish to talk to them about D/s or related subject. I had this question with the nurse when I went for contraception - I explained the type of play I like being tied up and punched etc and all the other bits and bobs ... after the face went a bit white she discussed ti really clearly with me and was basically sure I would be fine. I went for the injection in the end as I didnt want the implant personally but they should both be fine. Although if you have the coil fitted, for a short while afterward you can be more prone to infection and have to be a bit careful with insertables. The length of time is usually standard information provided verbally and/or in the info pamphlets you tend to get. I think it's somewhere between a week and a month but don't recall exactly.
Why be difficult, when with little bit of effort you can be impossible? | ||

The implant can be broken in the body. They don't advise them if you do contact sports for that reason, which is why i didn't get it done. Make of that what you will! | ||

I've got the implant and it can be hot to have it poked and was hot having it put in (medical AND ow) but I'd not recommend it as its fucked with my cycle. Gonna go back on the injection as soon as I get time to go back to the docs/I get my arse in gear. x Now where were we? Ah, yes - abject humiliation! | ||

I've recently (4 months ago) had the copper coil fitted as hormones and me don't agree. It's been great... except for the fact my periods have been significantly heavier and more painful. But I've had no problems so far with rough/vigorous sex. | ||

I have the implant and have to say that apart from it making me irregular its been great. I had to have all my coils removed as they got proved problematic.. I had one dislodged during sex.. which then proved uncomfy.. first one my own body just wouldnt accept... and last one it kept causing me and my partner pain during sex. But its worth mentioning that I like ultra deep penetration... to the point where my cervix is very bruised after.. so this could be why. Cali I am and always have been my Masters Slave, from the day I was born I was his. I just didn't realise it till My Master claimed me. |
