Usually, though like @The_Majickian I sometimes wish to make a point without getting sidetracked by others' posts (especially when they veer off-topic), and like @Mistressveasterdog and @Master_Blacksmith I sometimes skip posts as long as my own, especially when I'm very tired. Skip really boring ones too..
Pot & kettle though, maybe. Edited to add that @Ama_Sidero's point about ancient threads is a good one. It's not wrong .. but I do feel stupid when I realise at some point that I've been responding to posts made years ago, which are quite possibly no longer the opinions of the folk who typed them. Did that recently on a 5-yr-old thread. Doh! Edited 18 Jan 12, 1:16 AM by Pinderella

I don't always read all the comments before replying (I haven't today). Sometimes I do, if I'm particularly captivated by the contributions. A.

It depends how interesting the topic is and if I have time whether I read all the comments in between.

Very rarely - it depends how interesting the topic is and if I have time whether I read all the comments in between. *UPDATE* Model(s) for "how to" bondage photographs (and other bondage photographs) have now been found. Thank you to all who showed interest.

Depends on the nature of the thread and the quality of the replies ... Sometimes a simple answer to the original question is possible, in which case it's unnessessary to read the entire thread My plans are nothing so pedestrian...

As I am new to all of this I read everything - very educational!

If I am responding on a thread, I read all other replies first but I take so long to type sometimes (especially on my iPhone) that other posts appear while I'm typing. Edited 19 Jan 12, 7:20 AM by PricklyPear
