It's taken a few overnight jobs, but all albums sitting on my pc ready for a listening. Quite a few on there that will be new to me so some possible treats ahead.
Any obvious omissions?

Coldplay? Maybe if it was 1000001 albums to hear before you die I've only looked at the first and last couple of pages. There's much more stuff I've heard and like on the last pages. I good to see Sleater Kinney on there... but I hope 'The Woods' is in that list somewhere, because (a) it's incredible and (b) it's better than 'Dig Me Out'. A 1,001, seriously? Don't people know that there's a law that that says that none of these lists of things you should read/listen to/watch or visit before you die should ever be more that 101 at the absolute most, (10 is better). I've heard about two hundred of them.
How long is a piece of string ? The list is a bit short, it only shows me 973? I can only see albums up to a release date of 2007 as well? So in the spirit of each to his/her own, may I suggest a few : 'Elbow - The Seldom Seen Kid' 'Ray LaMontagne - Til The Sun Turns Black' 'The Wildhearts - Earth vs The Wildhearts' 'The Wonderstuff - The Eight Legged Groove Machine' 'Georgia Satellites - Georgia Satellites' and just to restate that number 691 'The Disposable Heroes Of Hiphoprisy – Hypocrisy Is The Greatest Luxury' really is an album you should hear before you die.
