Oh I don't think you were wrong as such - with all manufacturers, there will be some people who have problems, and some people who find it works fine for them. I know I've run into problems when my gf and I were just trying to play a movie off her IPod on my Windows computer, because mounting it as a drive showed scrambled filenames, and we weren't sure if doing it through ITunes would cause it to "sync" with my machine...

Haha, no apology neccessary. Different people have different experiences, and if they're not used to things they can be tricky at first. I had to set everything up for my parents and show them what to do but now they're fine.

Once set up though they're pretty simple, and so apart from learning what needs to be done there are no inherent problems with iStuff and windows.

My system has 2GB of RAM. In my Task Manager I see that much of it is unused at this moment in time. But my system (Windows 7) has seen fit to make a 169MB page file. Why would it make a relatively small page file when so much RAM is unused and available?

just cos someone watches what your doing doesn't mean they going to try and stop it

maybe they just curious

i got to say over the years i have seen some truly beautiful and fascinating images of all sorts of things, and i have seen some that made me feel cold right through the soul

and like you i get a tad ranty when i am unable to choose for myself what i wish to look at, although it has to be said my choices are probably bordering on boring, nearly as boring as all the techy stuff running through this thread
