Are you involved in your local kinky community? I'd say that a munch is a good way of making friends and then maybe something will come of that. :-)

thanks but i'm a private sort of person that would like to get to know someone online first before showing myself as a sub to everyone at a munch.

No one at a munch/fetish fair is going to know what orientation you are unless you say. Remaining online without a real life network is going to cause suspicion that you are not serious about meeting ie a fantasist w***er or that you have a partner.

How will anyone know you're a submissive at a munch?

You have pigeon holed yourself as a sissy/domestic, so that itself limits your chances more, if that's not what a Domme is seeking, she will just dismiss your contact.

For me, there is nothing like getting out and about and making your self known in your local community. The community is small, so youd have a fairer chance of standing out, if you build a real life network, Im shy, but I made the effort....I think (I think) it may well be paying off.

I have only been to one munch but it was just a night out in a pub talking to people. As you get chatting it might come up in conversation but you are not expected to attend in role.

appreciated but i'm sure there are loads (subs) in my position who want to develop a relationship/dialogue online then take it further when trust develops.

The subs who sit at home hoping to develop a relationship are usually the ones who end up posting about how they can't find a dominant woman who will take them seriously. Incidentally, how can you develop trust with someone over the internet?

If you don't want to be seen out locally, make the effort to travel to a munch outside your area and for goodness sake, look on the people there as people, don't just focus on the women and wander off when you find out that they are submissive. If you get yourself some real life contacts, you may be taken a little more seriously rather than someone with nothing to their name but a bit of whinging.

I'm sure you are right but as you have found unless you get out there actually you are wasting your time. I spent 3 months getting no where and got so hacked off I auditioned for Club Pedestal, had a great time at audition, attended the next event as a House Slave and my experience and confidence is now growing. I have met some wonderful Dommes at events admittedly mostly pro but actually found that suits me.

Its your choice but I think sitting behind a screen and hoping its going to happen is pointless if you are a male sub- as you say we are just two a penny.
