If you ever see a guy in black jeans and a t-shirt saying 'fuck the people', leather jacket, standing at the bar at one of these events looking nervous, that's probably me.

Unlikely, as clubs tend to have dress codes which prohibit jeans and tee shirts.
|
I thought some of the nights permitted casual dress so long as it was black?

But almost every club says no jeans. The Edinburgh clubs do. I have the perfect accent for conflict resolution, shame about the personality.

I see. I hadn't cottoned on to that detail.
Well I don't own a pair of leather trousers, and I hate sweaty balls, so there goes that idea.. |

No one said you had to wear leather trousers. There is the option of smart black, which excludes jeans but does allow decent trousers. I have the perfect accent for conflict resolution, shame about the personality.

Looking into it.
I have a suit, but I'm not really a suit n tie kinda guy though. I just wear it for funerals.
I don't really understand why the ban on jet black cotton trousers here, I mean I've got a nice quality pair of panama jack leather shoes so it'd all look quite smart... but if them's the rules... |

I think fucked up (in Birmingham) may not have a dress code. Alternatively you could think about getting together with a group of people to make an event with your own rules. |

Alright, by group of people I take it you mean group of women?
This is pretty much what I've been trying to do, that's why I am thinking of going to a fetish night.
So now we're back to square one, I still only wear cotton trousers.
