I've been thinking about stuff and the idea of random acts of kindness. This can be from holding open a door, to buying someone's lunch who you don't know and has lost their money. If everybody in the world did a random act of kindness for a friend or stranger each day I wonder what would happen? Suspect we would have a better place to live in....

I will be looking for an opportunity for randomness today.....

^^ Agreed. That's what I do. It can be as simple as letting someone cut in front of me while driving. I figure that if I do it, some of the people I have done it to while 'pass it forward' to others, and some of them while 'pass it forward'... Especially if the effort for me is minimal, I actually feel a bit guilty and cross with myself if I don't do those little acts (yeah, I know, I'm a twisted pervert!)

Looking forward to the weekend to recuperate as this week at work has been really hectic and heavy.

Seeing trainer tonight so no doubt he will bash me into shape and get me fighting fit for the weekend :) (<-- may be a tad optimistic there :-$)

Hugs to all who want and need them, with soothing balm for @angelicvixen_MH and gentle hugs for those who are dealing with recents deaths in their families

Have a nice day :)

There's a somebody I'm longing to see, I hope that he turns out to be, someone to watch over me

Good morning folks, I really must check in earlier instead of bimbling around prior to opening the laptop.

@Ember2b1, I am so sorry to hear about you Mum - big hugs to you.

@Caracal, you've worked so hard sorting your Dads estate out, I do hope you get your promised break.

@TheSilverFox (when did you go back to that?! Grins...) - I think I may have done my random act of kindness in the small hours last night. I saw an appeal for a supported foster home for a terminally ill greyhound; the charity pays its vet bills and it stays in the foster home for life. It's a bit of a tough gig (I did the same for an 18 year old lurcher last year) but SO rewarding, knowing you've made those final months happy and comfortable. I emailed the Rehoming Manager and she's phoning me later to see if we are compatible. Fingers crossed.

I missed the moon this morning but saw the sunset from Asda in Milton Keynes of all places - amazingly beautiful.

Fairly busy weekend for me, I have a gentleman caller round for dinner tonight, a meal with the Northampton Munch crowd tomorrow and the BBB Sunday.

Think that's me done, time to house the washing mountain that's growing in my room, change the sheets and whizz the hoover round.

Have a wonderful day, whatever you are up to xxx

Not huffy or stuffy, nor tiny or tall, But fluffy, just fluffy, with no brains at all.

It was quite something wasn't it?

So wish I had had my camera with me...

Morning all.

Did anyone see the moon at about 830? It was huge and low and almost translucent. I went haring off to the beach furthest to the east with my camera but it wasn't so striking so I just watched it for a while with my thoughts.
