like it isn't bad enough at the moment then it gets worse ..... the handle fell off my favourite frying pan the other day, it was sticking up at a funny angle so i gave it a wiggle and it came off in my hand ... i suppose it could have worse ... i could have wiggled it while i was cooking.
shit happens !
and .. some fucker smashed the window on my car which, unlike the pan, was repairable, all for about 80p in loose change ... it could have been worse, they didn't steal my sunglasses !
shit keeps happening !
being out of work sucks ... my shoulder is getting on my nerves ... its getting better but its a slow process ... but on the plus side i saw a different doctor today and he is going to organise some therapy ... mind you the last time it happened i was sent to a therapist who tried acupuncture ... now i'm not sure what sticking needles in my arms and one in my head was going to achieve but it did absolutely nothing for me .... so fingers crossed this time

After ONLY 12 days with someone I found out yesterday that he was in the process of seeing someone else. I chatted to her last night. Almost lost my faith in this site. I am sure I will heal in time, don't quite know WHY I feel so hurt but then compared to handles on frying pans and car windows at least this one won't cost much to repair, only my head. Sorry to hear acupuncture didnt work for you. I have never had it so can't advise. Hope you get your shoulder sorted soon though with new doc. Yeah being unemployed is no laughing joke and we do have to reign ourselves in with our previous standard of living but hey we CAN still eat, just. Just wanted to say in my moment of misery that your blog made me smile even though it wasnt intended too. Hope today is better for you. redsub | |||

Truly the most tragic thing about your post is the frying pan handle breaking. That's what happens when you twiddle with things! All is not lost, however, sure you cannot 'toss' with that pan any longer, but it still remains somewhat functional provided you use a tea-towel to touch it with during cooking  Despite the acupuncture not seeming to work, it may well have for the practitioner who also clearly loves to twiddle with things! to try and cheer you up... here's how it would have been if it has been a REALLY bad day...
REALLY BAD DAY VERSION: your favourite frying pan is full of hot oil, you wiggle the handle and the pan topples over sending hot oil over your nether regions and falls on your foot breaking your big right toe.. as you are hopping about from the hot oil, you slip on the oil which is now on the floor, and promptly break your left ankle and left wrist trying to catch yourself
REALLY BAD DAY VERSION: you were driving the car and the fucker threw a bollard at your car while you were going under an overpass. Your car, your sunglasses and you are all comprehensively mushed and you cause a pile-up on the motorway. 'nuff said.
REALLY BAD DAY VERSION: you are sent to an acupuncture expert and not only does it not do anything for you, but in fact it is *bloody* painful So... the moral of the story is...
actually you had a really lucky day in which you avoided several dangerous situations There's a somebody I'm longing to see, I hope that he turns out to be, someone to watch over me |
