Absolutely. It sounds like your body going into shock. I totally echo the advice from mizeiki. Good aftercare, warm drink to slowly sip and a hug/massage.

The first time i went deep into sub-space / mistress was playing gently with a pinwheel all over for about 30 mins every nerve ending was screaming it was fantastic but it took about half an hour of stroking carressing to return me to a semi normal state its very important
that the dom(mme) looks after the sub afterwards Edited 12 Jan 12, 8:17 AM by sluttymaid

Yep very normal. Although scary when you first experience it. I've only ever had the shaking once and that was a time I played when I was tired and had been really busy beforehand but normally any time I have played I will always get really really cold after it. Like everyone has said sugar, warmth and a rubbish DVD that doesn't take too much concentrating on and lots of cuddles and it will pass xx Domestically challenged!!

The shakes come as the increased levels of adrenalin start to dissipate in the body. The adrenalin level would have been high with this being your first time and it is likely that future sessions may not be as intense and the adrenalin rush and after shakes will subside. This happened to me the first time I had a Hitachi wand used on me. it's also happened when I've come round from a general anesthetic so Ihad an idea what was happening. cuddles and warmth did the trick and it hasn't happened since.
