Out of the batch of films I've watched in recent days this stands out for me and is worth recommending. Its a creepy, tight little horror film set on the moon. If you remember the actual Apollo moon landings, the film is shot in that same style, from static internal cameras in the spaceship and hand held cameras and a camera on the moon rover vehicle when they're on the moon's surface. Just three actors in it, a clever plot, and makes a welcome change from slasher movies set in old creepy houses, but delivering the same kind of chills. A good one I think.

I second that. Watched it a couple of days ago and thought it was good (though the reviews were generally not good). It is art that makes life, makes interest, makes importance, for our consideration and application of these things, and I know of no substitute whatever for the force and beauty of its process.

if it had a plot as opposed to just a script i missed it... the acting was ok however ok is the best i can say about it and it had slightly less dramatic content than watching the front tyres on my car being replaced last week... i thought it was pants... big... much washed grey old lady pants hanging on a washing line pants... You can't dry your washing on the moon, everyone knows that, there aint no breeze. Its one of the biggest drawbacks to living on the moon, frankly, NASA still haven't come up with a viable solution to the non-drying pants problem. Thats actually the plot of Apollo 19. Or the script rather. Three astronaughts are sent to the moon to hang a washing line, then realise that THEY ARE NOT ALONE when their smalls start disappearing from the line. I wont give the ending away and besides, I haven't written it yet. But this will be the BIG ONE for me, I feel it in my waters, hollywood here I come.

I found it slow and predictable. The poorest film I've seen in a long time The older I get the more I recall... how little I knew when I knew it all.

Oh, shame, but I really liked it, it kept to point, and WAS creepy, I mean, something on the moon! A haunted moon story. Creep-out! The brief glimpses of the creatures I found really jumpy.... Do I scare easily, you think? |
