Isn't one of the key lines in Christian services "ashes to ashes, dust to dust"? So cremation arguably fits in quite well with that.... There's a somebody I'm longing to see, I hope that he turns out to be, someone to watch over me

I want my body to be placed in a circus cannon and then shot through the top deck of a bus window... it's a revenge thing. Go for burial T... you'll hang around much longer... good also for the ego to believe that people will be travelling from far away to pay respect and derive inspiration from your existence!!!! ETA... not that they're NOT deriving inspiration from you now of course!!! xx Edited 9 Jan 12, 11:30 AM by Ima_Kant

Like you I am trying to decide burial or cremation. I think the idea of the cold earth puts me off burial slightly. There is another aspect to this if you have friends and family who might want to visit the grave etc to mourn or just for comfort. Here a grave has an advantage for those remaining here. Ashes that have been scattered make it difficult to mourn in the same way as with a grave. I have wonder if buying a grave and putting the ashes in it with head stone etc, would this meet the needs of those remaining. This post is my opinion, sorry if you don't agree with it or if it offends you in any way

I have asked Master if i die before him i wish to be cremated, i have a phobic fear of being still alive when buried. I know its probably totally irrational but i can get it out of my head, i gguess if i am still alive when cremated hopefully it will be quick.
I would like a cardboard coffin and my ashes to be spread on the reserve where we live.
This is close to home at the moment as we are going to Masters fathers funeral a week tuesday and that is a creamtion. I am also thinking of starting a payment plan as the price of funerals is so expensive, i would not want to leave Master with that worry. So very happy wearing my Masters collar

You want *more*? 'To loose' means 'to let go'. 'Lose' means you can't find it. 'Discrete' means separate. 'Crescendo' means 'growing'. 'Fulsome' doesn't mean 'full'. 'Unique' doesn't mean 'very unusual'.

I bought my cremation funeral years ago, just as my parents did. I have no desire to trouble my son for that much money with his (I hope) ore than teenage children to care for. It also means that he can take his time realising his inheritance, such as it is. Hugs, Irene.

I've opted for burning my material body when the time comes.
