Eeep, mine was the Xmas number one, which was in 1972, Little Jimmy Osmond, Long Haired Lover From Liverpool!

But on a positive note, I narrowly missed the Xmas number one the year before, which was Benny Hill and Ernie the fastest milkman song.

Ahhh how I miss novelty songs. Although I do believe all the X Factor number 1's can be called novelty as they are always covers and generally an utter pile of shite.
