After a month off and some date related confusion around the last even we are back at our usual slot on Tuesday, 17 January from 8.00pm until 11pm (and most likely later.) CKD is held at Hidden Rooms, located at The Basement, 7a Jesus Lane, Cambridge, CB5 8BA. Please note that this venue is actually hidden! If you look out for a Pizza Express on the right as you head up into town via Jesus Lane there is a door to the right of the restaurant with steps down to the basement. We have a private room to the left of the stairs but it you do get lost let one of the bar staff know and they'll be happy to direct you. There is parking around the corner at Park Street car park for the low low price of 70p per hour! My perverted yet welcoming self Vindicated and the possibly even more perverted and totally awesome Mrglove will be kicking things on with a meet and greet from 7.30 for anyone new and wanting an introduction to some of the better known people or just a friendly chat to calm your nerves before things get busy. If you would like to speak to a member of the group before the event please contact me via this site or fetlife or mrglove (via fetlife only). Along with good company and a selection of delicious cocktails we will also be bringing along a selection of toys to try out*, things to read and munchies to keep your energy levels up. Now, some serious stuff. We have been talking over Christmas about how we'd like the event to continue. Having gone from a bi-monthly to a monthly event and having a main munch on in Cambridge already we feel that we would like this event to be more focused on the younger members of the scene. Therefore from here on out we will be running CKD as an under-35's event please get in touch with one of the organisers directly if you'd like to share your thoughts on this. A caveat to this is that if you are under 35 and do have an older partner we don't want you to feel excluded and we are happy for you both to come along. We will also consider exceptions for some regular attendees of both CKD and the munch on a case-by-case basis. Looking forward to seeing you there! Sing it loud, I'm a freak and I'm proud! | ||

So when is the Cambs munch for the OAPs like me? I can't see it on the calendar even using my magnifier Life is not about waiting for the storms to pass but learning to dance in the rain. | ||
