2012.
3 'popstars' will die, 1 in 'strange' circumstances.
2 world leaders (who are not currently in power) will die, 1 after a long but unknown to the public illness.
6 'celebrity' marriages will happen but only 2 will be known about before the marriage day.
8 'celebrity' breakups will happen 1 of them will be a shock to everyone.
2 number 1 singles will be surprises.
3 Singles will be used in advertising where the artist said s/he would never allow it (due to their need for funds to live the popstar lifestyle coupled with the lack of new material being released).
2 new tv series will premiere, will have good 'ratings' but will not get a second series.
4 new series will have low 'ratings' but will get a second series.
2 films released this year will be a flop despite being long awaited.
George Lucas will 'tweak' the 'Star Wars' saga again and will re-re-re-release it on all formats available. He will also think again about directing a new film but will turn it down as the revenue from 'Star Wars' related goods will earn him more than the new film would.
10 people will be accused by the press of plagurism over various forms of media they have released that bear 'similarities' to previously released forms of other media. Though of course they will be redeemed if they are ever taken to court over it.
The price hike for travelling in London on train, bus and tube will not be shown for what it really is and will also never be shown for what it is being touted as.
The 'Olympics' will be classed as a financial success by the government even though most of the country will be in deeper debt after the olympics is over.
3 MP's will 'stand down' due to skeletons coming out of their closets.
I'm sure you lot can come up with more predictions for the coming year, so be my guest and let us all know.

Public transport will come to a stand still and they will make trains 'Olympics ticket holders only' cancelling tubes and trains for them that use them daily now. The recession will be longer than stated. Have bigger issues within the NHS as they are forcing some Dr's into retirment due to cut backs.

My predictions . . . 1) The Simon Cowell empire will crash and burn signalling the end of the talent show format on TV. 2) Prince Phillip will die towards the end of the year and the Queen will relinquish her crown, Charles will step aside in favour of the new King William. 3) The winner of the football Premier League 2011/2012 will not be from Manchester. 4) The Olympics will be a wash out weather wise and both the opening and closing ceremonies will leave the nation open mouthed at a) how much they cost and b) just how crap they were. 5) England will triumph in the 2012 Polkraine Euro championship, this will mean no rioting in the summer as a wave of good feeling sweeps the nation. 6) The phone hacking inquiry will come down hard on the newspapers, minor celebs will hail this as a triumph, but the press will hit back by printing all of the things they have know about celebs but have held back on. 7) Labour will have a new leader. 8) Greece will leave the euro zone. 9) Apple product quality/innovation levels will drop off dramatically. The iPhone 5 will be a design flop leading to a hasty withdrawal and re-release of iphone classic. 10) Personal flying cars and household robots will become commonplace. Come on, Tomorrows World has to get it right eventually. and finally, more out of hope than anything else . . . Ricky Gervais will do something funny. You have an image, Like a good girl should, But you'd take it from its package, And you'd break it if you could. | |

Vince Cable will move to the back benches which will lead to a Lib Dem revolt and spelling the end for the coalition, leading to a general election sometime in 2013. Unfortunately under I do not believe the Labour party to be electable under its current leadership Edited 4 Jan 12, 4:57 PM by John_Doe |
