Long term lurker making my annual (not so this time) rambling post. I've broken my arm and now feel a lot more dominant? What gives? My usual play (and for the next few months)fantasies reviolve arround masters/misteresses generaly having their way with me. But somethings flicked a switch in my head and it's all topsy turvey! Your thoughts?

It's down to small fat globules released into the blood from the site of the break lodging in the brain and causing temporary personality changes. Like the pearl wearing, cherry vomiting lady in The Witches of Eastwick. Normal service will be resumed soon enough, I'm sure. We really like cheese, we like Zeppelins. WE LIKE THE MOON!

I was a switch with sub-tendencies until I shattered my arm. After that I very quickly got bored of subbing, and, although it took me two years to realise, I was much more Dom. It didn't change my kinks, and I'm still a masochist and switch on the whole top/bottom thing, but on the Dom/sub scale I'm definitely Dom now. It's possible your change will be brief, and normal service will return once your arm recovers, but it's also possible that you'll come to appreciate your new role too much to ever switch back fully. Whatever happens, embrace it - it's a part of who you are, after all. "That hat makes you look like you own slaves! ... only you would go to a Goth club wearing a beige hat, and dressed in purple!"

maybe it's a cruel joke and you have broken your whipping arm? I don't mind if I get broken I don't mind if I get fixed I don't mind if I'm not spoken I don't mind if I get kicks If I wake up dead I'll wake up just like any other day

When i broke my ankle, i became a lot more sadistic. I can only assume that sadists suffer a lot of internal pain.. Club Subversion Crossing the Rubicon FleursduMal bobette's Facebook Beginners Guide to BDSM

Glad to know I'm not the only one then! And there's even science to back it up

If I'm hurt I generally just don't feel sexy at all rather than dominant. I suppose as suggested above a protective instinct kicks in and you would want to try to protect from harm the injured part.
