I love IC (so far) but have never found it too user friendly, well, me user friendly. Sometimes a woman is mad enough to talk with me and like to see a pic of me. I have sent memos and attached pics quite happily. Recently One such mad member of IC was just starting to talk with and I went to send pic .. and couldn't!
It used to be: write memo, click attach pic/video etc or something and then click send (strange) then came the 'browse...' to select pic. This doesn't happen now. I just send memos saying here is my pic and no pic. grrr. so, good folk, can you help me. I did memo web help and after they had recovered from their Christmas cleebrations and eventually answered it they told me to .. post here ... Thank you in advance, Steve | |

I don't think IC has ever had that kind of feature. I prefer IC to be kept very simple. If you really need to exchange pictures, there is always email. It can be done in one minute. IC is the best place for me as I would not like to receive unwanted pictures from guys(usually naked...sigh. God, do they seriously think I want to see their ugly body???). | |

Well news to me too - never thought it was ever possible to attach a picture to a memo, surely the file would become to cumbersome and risk clogging the memo facility?

Specifically here http://www.informedconsent.co.uk/about/ICcode under the heading "Pictures". It does require the picture to be already uploaded to IC; you can't attach pictures directly from your computer. "Wisdom begins in wonder” (Socrates) | |

Upload a picture to some other site like Flicker and then just include a link in the memo. The pic isn't on IC and so can be kept hidden. Can you tell I'm bored and have nothing better to do with my life? | |

i think you're confusing ic with collarme as what you've described is exactly how cm works | |

Many thanks. I am sure (well mostly) I have sent a pic with a memo yet have for sure mixed up with collarme process. I don't have a profile pic because of my work. i would gladly have one so am pleased to send one on request and have sent a few! lol. I dont ask for email as may not want to give it out, yet yes, that is the best way. thanxx everyone x |
