OK I'll bite.
2011 in 40 questions
1. What did you do in 2011 that you'd never done before?
Raised a toddler
Bought a house
2. Did you keep your New Year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't recall making any last year, probably weight related if i did, aren't women predictably boring.
This year I would like
1. A promotion at work/ new job.
2. To lose 5 stone, I've made a start but have a long way to go.
3. To be more of a domesticated goddess but It's hard working full time with a small child, I'm making excuses already 
.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Yep I'm a very proud auntie to a lovely little boy!
4. Did anyone close to you die?
No, thankfully.
5. What countries did you visit?
Spain my travel plans for 2011 were abolished due to house buying 
.
6. What would you like to have in 2012 that you lacked in 2011?
A new job and a baby bump.
7. What date(s) from 2011 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
July when we completed on the house and a few other's for more personal reasons.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Buying a house and registering my son with a fab school. Teaching him things feel like massive achievements too.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Not getting a promotion today, but I got fab feedback so I'm hopeful for next time.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Yes I was involved in a nasty car crash .
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Noise, who worked so hard to make this house a home.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
The rioters, need I say more. Oh and people with no integrity, you all know who you are
14. Where did most of your money go?
This moneypit of a house.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Christmas and more specifically my Mulberry handbag.
Soft furnishings.
Whirlpool baths and granite mosaic tiles.
16. What song will always remind you of 2011?
S and M by Rihanna, the year in which whips and chains were cool hahaha
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. Happier or sadder?
Happier I think, it's been a year with a great deal of stress but I've put down roots and I'm feeling content.
ii. Thinner or fatter?
About the same I think, maybe a little lighter.
iii. richer or poorer?
Erm about the same but with higher outgoings so probably poorer.
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Cuddling the baby that is now no more.
Travelled.
Read.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Wished My life away.
Moaned.
Wished the lil man's life away.
I spent too long agonising the next milestone instead of enjoying him been tiny.
20. How did you spend Christmas?
With Noise and the lil man enjoying him opening his presents, what it's all about really! Then working and visiting more family. It was lovely.
21. How many one-night stands?
None.
22. What was your favourite TV program?
The Apprentice or Downton Abbey.
23. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
No.
24. What was the best book you read?
Confessions of a bad mother
25. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Discovering that Eminem was headlining V Festival on the Friday (yes I was living under a rock) and my wonderful Noise getting me passes so I could see him on the Saturday!
A fab bit of spontaneity.
26. What did you want and get?
A Mulberry handbag.
A House in a good catchment area.
27. What was your favourite film of this year?
The final Harry Potter of course.
29. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I was 28 and I had a quiet one. A nice meal and the cinema with Noise.
30. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2011?
Bag lady
31. What kept you sane?
I think I was a bit insane at times .
32. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Eminem on stage!
33. What political issue stirred you the most?
The vast majority of them boil my piss at the moment.
34. Who did you miss?
My very good friend who moved to the outer hebrides and hasn't got a car yet!.
35. Who was the best new person you met?
I'm antisocial I don't think I met many new people at all.
36. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2011.
However long the night, the dawn will break.

38. What did you learn about yourself this year that surprised you?
That I'm a lot softer than I realised.
39. What is your proudest moment/achievement of 2011?
Lots of proud moments, first steps were a big one and the first time he counted to 10. My favourite was the first "I love you mummy"
40. Why exactly are you blogging this on NYE on IC? Do you expect anyone to even bother reading this far down, and if so what do you think their opinion is of you?
It's not NYE and I'm bored and avoiding tidying up the Christmas explotion.
I don't Suspect many people will read all of this. As to their opinion of me? If they bothered to get this far I suspect they know me.
