Tries hard not to be rude and idiotic I wouldn't want to be doing D/s with someone who wasn't happy and up for a laugh The real turn off for me are those on here who are so bloody serious about it all. You see Dom/mes posting about how they want this and that and the sub must do like this and act like this - and I think lighten up a bit and you may get somewhere YKIOK of course and each to their own - just stating my viewpoint on it
Before you speak ask yourself: is it kind, is it true, is it necessary, does it improve upon the silence?

I find I am almost always happy when I am dominating a man, even if my happiness is not always shown with much beyond a giggle and light hearted banter with the sub. I cannot imagine being all hatchet faced and put on strict when with a sub. I would feel such a fraud, almost like trying to copy those 'proper dommes I saw in a porn clip'. I do expect complete obedience and submission from my subs but I think my manner of asking is friendly, encouraging and respectful. I can't bear subs who take the playing so seriously, they will not allow you to be who you really are. To me, submitting is a serious commitment on the part of the sub but it does not have to be enacted by the dominant woman in a po-faced, stern or draconian fashion. Isn't that what usually happens when the dominant IS having fun but not in the way the submissive wants them to?
@The_Coven / @The_Problem_Page, you might give the advice that someone needs. / I want the "Moon on a stick and the Stars suspended from bunting". / So many haystacks, so few needles! / Conserve conversation and converse about conservation!

Most dommes I have met at events and clubs are 'Happy Dommes'(apart from just a few of very serious professional ones. But they tend to look quite boring as a person to me, so I have never had a chance to talk to them anyway...). We don't have to make a serious cold face when we are having fun!

Of course. If anyone wanted to be intimate with a mouthful of sharp fangs they'd be hanging around the shark tank. Besides, laughter whilst swinging that cat is often more menacing than any amount of Santana grimace. And as I've often said to Dommes of my acquaintance - "that little face was made for smiles and laughter"... My Grandma had a pair of boots,

There is such a thing as a wicked smile!, a malevolent laugh. Happy doesn't have to mean vacant. |
