When getting used to a device that is typically made for long-term wear then it's likely you will sleep on your back for the first few nights to get used to it (that's purely individual and some people adapt more quickly/easily than others) and you could wake with throbbing balls that are painful. Former boy found using just plain Vaseline worked best for him around the ring and once he got over the first few days of wearing it he was able to sleep pretty much in any position he wanted without issue - apart from on his front, of course. Peeing sitting down is recommended as the urine will just continue to leak from having coated the inside of the plastic device.

I always sleep on my front in mine and generally have undisturbed sleep, but also have to agree about the peeing sitting down which is a right PITA when on a night out in a pub and I have to keep using a cubicle..

That's interesting, my former boy tried this and within seconds was writhing in agony. Also found over time the seam running along the entire device weakened to the point it came apart at one point.

On my very first night of attempting to sleep in it, I awoke at about 4 in the morning with the most godawful pain in my balls. I had also managed to totally mislay my keys. Searching high and low for a set of tiny keys at that time in the morning is not to be recommended. In the end I found a hacksaw before I found the keys... that is one night I don't want to repeat.

I managed to sleep on my side (or at least that's how I started) although was aware of it until I did eventually get over.

Ah, much better. Although I haven't tried sleeping with it yet what a difference it is switching from that steel thing to a CB6000s!

Lighter, better fit and hopefully it wont slip completely off as the cage did at one point (aka my breaking point with it!). Number lock slapped on, looking like for two or three weeks....here's hoping I can sleep in it.

Oh and work. And exercise! Testing those two tomorrow, terrified ;D

Although I wouldn't call it agony, I also had a similar problem trying to sleep on my front in the old cb series! We also had the same problem with the seam... and when that split it was agony!

Since then we've stuck to metal devices, and finally last year (and on eBay of all places) we found the perfect lightweight and comfortable device. (perfect for us anyway)
