Within a year I've lost an Aunty, an Uncle and more recently my Father who went peacefully in a sedated sleep on the 3rd December this year. To those who were lucky enough to meet this wonderful man I hope you have happy memories of him, as I do obviously. He was extremely giving, non-judgemental and an all round fabulous guy who was extremely supportive of myself, this lifetyle and the friends I have been fortunate enough to gain through it.

His funeral was held on the 20th of Dec at Cambridge Crematorium the way he'd have wanted.

If anyone would like to donate to his last cause (we were both huge charitable people) we are asking for donations to go towards .. Breathing equipment for ward N3 in Addenbrookes.

Many thanks for those of you who've already donated and shared your memories with me.

RIP Dad xx

Oh dear oh dear. A hard year for you. My condolences too.

I'm hoping you will go on being a huge charitable people, though. To start the ball rolling... donation made.

My condolences to you both as I lost 2 family members in 2 weeks in Sept and some times it's hard... Christmas day as a bugger and I shed tears.

Gives hugs all round. xx

I am sorry to hear about your Aunt, Uncle and Father. I lost my Dad just before Christmas. I've found it a difficult time despite the fact I knew he was near the end of his life. He has been part of my life for such a long time that it is hard to imagine life without him. Luckily I managed to organise the funeral just before Christmas so I'll be able to start afresh in 2012.

I'm sure you will have many happy memories of your relatives and these will give you the strength and determination to carry on. I wish you well for the New Year and beyond.
