Time for a cuppa and start things going, no do I vacuum or just take things gently?

Its been lovely visiting my dad and all the kids and grandchildren.

So many happy faces. My god i love them all so much. Lookin forward to my cakes from Jen and Karena.

Another party today. Must admit its takin it out on me.

I am what I am and what I am needs no excuses

Pussycats and alarm clocks do not know Boxing Day from an ordinary Monday it seems.

Appear to have been dreaming about diet food and exercise bicycles all night. I think I may have eaten more than I should have yesterday, despite warning myself not to.

Another visit with relatives today, and then off to fit the fine new chimney cowl I requested as a Christmas present.

Woohoo!! No more awful Christmas music everywhere.

Today I shall mostly be doing the laundry whilst dancing like a dervish and singing like a banshee to Penetration-Nostalgia.

Well yesterday didn't quite go as planned, spent most of day popping pain killers and curled up on sofa with the most god awful stomach cramps....who said it was easy being a woman! Also felt quite sick at one point, so didn't eat much and the Bailey's is still in the fridge.

Laying her starving now though, another day without my son he is off to buy an Xbox soon.

Am leaving it a while before I make a bowl of porridge with whipping cream and maple syrup. A five course lunch yesterday was somewhat generous!

It was a mixed day yesterday, inevitable when it's the first Christmas with an empty seat at the table but we got through and I was safely home by 830. Today is visiting relatives who have come from as far as Russia and Spain - lots of gorgeous blossoming teenagers so there should be much laughter later.
