That's probably the same thing. Obviously I take part in commerce, sell goods and services and spend money on some things but I don't like or want possessions. In fact I'd like to clear the house of possessions so the best present for me would be to help me remove things from the house, not add to what is there.

Went to see @Avalanchian's family today and had my third (!) Christmas dinner. Came home early (tired and feeling a bit off colour) and now watching the Swedish adaptation of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo with @Avalanchian and @T5tart. No hunting (stopped a couple of years ago) and no shopping. Just a nice, relaxed day with good food and good company. Don't you just love goodbyes? | |||

Anyway, I'm bloody glad it's nearly all over, it's been the most shite Christmas for years; elderly parents causing domestic upset, o/h's offspring not bothering to contact her again. The only saints were my eldest son and his wife who were very understanding and took said parents back to London a day early got me. Chill out day with 3 kids under 10 .... yeah right....Pandemonium and chaos more like.... So next Christmas is going to be somewhere in the Caribbean!!!!!!
No kids, no-family ... just me, golden sands and an alcoholic beverage of some sort that I probably wouldn't be able to pronounce, or even care about Omnia vincit amor | |||
