Manipulation...Control...Domination.
In my fluffy happy daymares, Domination, for me, is all about enabling.
You know you've failed when your submissive is rendered incapable without you. In my experience, in my opinion.
Subject A was a controller...so I became a manipulator. Now he can no longer control me, I have no need to manipulate him. We get along quite well now...and, ironically, he now holds the badge of personI'veknownthelongest~andstillspeakto~butnotrel atedto. There may be a more elegant Title, but fuckit. Suffice to say, I was FEISTY in those days, and not easily led. He was used to being in charge, and surprised at me not really grooving wit dat. So I left.
Subject B was...useless. I became The Controller...actually, I heard him refer to me as Mussolini when he didn't know I was listening. But...but...if I hadn't taken the reins, we would have starved and had the house repossessed. When I realised how much his aggression was damaging me; and how much harm I was doing to him by letting him give up all responsibility...I left.
Subject C was my first Dom...my first forage into the forests of not having to wear the trousers ALLTHEFUCKINGTIME. In fact, trousers were banned; and underwear...and independent thought. It was a blast, until he disappeared and I no longer knew how to pass a day without being told how.
Subjects D, E, and F are best skimmed over...life's too short. They taught me though that I am not d)once a sub who...e)is willing to sell out on what really matters to me...f)or a fantasy Domme who never feels nowt...
So zooooooom through to current day...I am, still, and always have been on reflection, The One in Charge. It just is.
But it sucks when it's your birthday, and no-one around you is organised enough to pull it together. Fucked if I'm gonna organise my own.
Next year I'm staying in bed. ![]()
Happy jollies all. X

My birthdays at boarding school were always non-events. It was near to the end of term so my parents figured it could wait until I got home. On my sixteen birthday they were in the country so I got it in my head they'd come and see me... I waited all day. Later I found out they had gone to Canada on a holiday. For my eighteenth birthday I was sent to the states to stay with relatives I didn't know. We ended up at a restaurant and as no-one really knew me the conversation went on around me but didn't include me... then I had to pick up the tab. My twenty-first birthday the only thing of note was that my boyfriend stole the money my parents had given me so he could place a big order for dope - he "thought it was what I would have wanted" .. three people came round to buy dope off him and wished me a happy birthday in passing... :-/ Here's hoping your birthday is good and next year's is better. I've personally given up on the Damn things... I find I am happier that way. I just try to celebrate being alive each and every day and not expect a fuss on one particular one. | |
