I've been on this website for ages now. How do i cut part of a quote from someone and still have the box and the name of the person. I end up quoting the whole thing for one line i usually take offence to. So then my posts end up looking long winded

Little bit long winded. Copy the whole quote and paste it into word or similar. Highlight the bits you done not want and hit delete. You might have to do this twice, bit before wanted bit and not wanted after. Make sure you leave one [/quote] at the end. Highlight it all, copy and paste into you post. Just make sure you've still got the complete [ quote=poster's name] [ /quote] code 'tags' around the text you want.  (Ignore the extra space after the initial square bracket in each of the above, added to make the tags visible in the post.) Nicki | |||
