Which makes it rather unfortunate, that you are at best neurotic and at worst an obsessive compulsive PD.

Oh and rude, lets not forget rude.

Ah, perhaps that's why I feel good. I have never even been on the contraceptive pill and have been lucky enough virtually never to have taken medicines.

I am sure lots of sex as you say is good for people too although not if you can STDs I suppose.

As we become older it becomes more difficult to maintain a healthy weight and diets are extremely unpleasant. No matter how thin you are in your twenties you can face a weight problem by as early as 35, often triggered by modern medicines, ironically enough: many modern medicines for a variety of ailments cause rapid weight gain and hormonal imbalances, particularly in men. I would say a high level of sexual activity probably helps to prevent this, because even when passive and inactive, a sexually aroused person burn more calories than they would normally do. Unfortunately, the fatter we become the less sexual we can feel and it becomes a vicious circle. It is certainly not fair to blame all of it on lifestyle or choice. We live relatively very long lives and we have to deal with growing a lot older than people historically ever did. By the time you reach the age of only 35, you are already far older than most people who have ever lived and died in the history of the world.

One's thoughts this week are with North Korea although even then they have not managed to get everyone to the same level. The country is worse than the town and the new 3rd generation leader is so fat he'll die young like his father.

The human race has done pretty well with its survival of the fittest (supported of course by the fact also most of us also look after those whom we love too) and the like.

TC is right that most of them are fat because they eat the wrong foods and too much food. That doesn't mean it's easy. What people need to realise though is that things ilke how we dress, speak, spell, look and indeed our competence at work and social skills have a major impact on how we cope with life, get promotion at work and find partners.

More classist nonsense.

Or more inconvenient truths that political correctness has relegated to the elephant on the table.

Of course if you consider it morally correct or incorrect that the talented, skilled, healthy and determined should get a better slice of the cake that those who are not is another matter.

The fact is they do and attempts in the past to homogenize them into an egalitarian utopia usually end in at best failure, at worst in millions dead.

We are the sum of millions of years of evolution where the healthy, clever and adaptable have survived and prospered.

I was just about to post in this thread, but this post above has me covered 100%

If anything the lowest common denominator doctrine, supported by those missing the elephant is detrimental to the future of the human race.

Class is fun and I've never said what class I am I think. Although those taking a PhD in "Past posts of ClassAct" might put me right.

I think the Duchess (and even I to a lesser extent) illustrate class movement. We are lucky in the UK to have class mobility. I think her great great grandfather and my great grandfathers were both miners in the same place. People can change class, sometimes in a generation but usually over a little more time.

The only points I am making is that be conscious. If you want to eschew all that stuff that might well be a good route to happiness. Money, class, status are rarely the things that ultimately make any of us happy. If you would quite like the fun moving class or something then by all means do it. However be aware that all people on this planet take decisions about others based on range of information and that will include whether you have the biggest penis gourd around your middle in the Amazon or if you're fat and chubby in North Korea (which means you're not starving to death there) or the UK equivalent.

I'm not sure if I've answered all the points. I'm a bit tired.

My worth is no different from any other human being on this planet. I hope we all respect and care for others whatever their situation. I have never once said just because I earn X or have Z IQ or whatever that makes me morally a better person.

However the fact I might want a man who matches me a bit, with whom I have an element of parity s a different topic and luckily I have known some very nice men. Lucky me.

Stop making me laugh. I'm not quite ready to be culled yet. In fact I seem to be the cash cow for a fairly large number of dependents, ex husband and uncle tom cobley and all. An asset not yet wasting but gosh yes, we will all die and we will all deteriorate. I think the fact I had children young meant I definitely was more tired and less fit in my 20s than my 40s though. I just haven't yet found physical deterioration.

Success is a fascinating topic to discuss. I try to keep these topics to BDSM if possbile, choice of partner, controling how your partner looks, looking up to a man who exceeds you and then controls you because he is wife and better than you are. Those are all D/s topics for me.

More generally well my greatest success is that I am happy and healthy. nothing is as important as that. Part of that is because of how I try to look after myself.

I am sick to death of people in this country whinging though - they sit there making everyone responsible for themselves except them. It's a sort socialist mind set - "he has more than I have so let's rob him. She is in a nicer house so let's take that way. I would hate a pay rise of £20k if my colleagues got £40k and would perefer we all got £1ok. I cannot improve my lot as it would mean getting out iof bed at 6am for a job interview." People go on and on in this vein.

Thankfully we've run out of money to support them all so they are just going to have to get their comeuppance.

I am not saying I am the world's expert in the subjective, though.

Every day I improve. I get better and better. Whoever ends up marrying me will be very glad he waited. The best is yet to come.

Probably wrong...

At age 49 your body is deteriorating - your mind too. Eventually you, like everyone else, will die.

Your vaunted (by you at any rate) intellect doesn't appearv to have recognised that your views alienate a large number of potential life partners. Sure there may be an ultra successful, highly intellectual, physically strong, alpha male out there with limited empathy for those less well favoured. But he's dating a twenty something.

Success is BY NO MEANS purely a result of individual effort. I'd accept that North Koreans have it very hard for example - but North Korea is a military dictatorship not a socialist utopia. Cuba would be a better example of a communist state - but communism isn't identical to socialism. Here birth (despite the premature baldness Prince William was never going to end up with an ugly partner), genetics, and life opportunities make far more difference than individual effort. The changes being wrought by David Cameron's coalition will even more securely stop social mobility.

A society which totally ruthlessly culled off anyone whose contribution was less than their costs would be probably having a very careful look at your C.V. right about now...

It's a shame the recently vacated post in North Korea has all ready been filled, you'd shine. Those blinkers fit you well though.

This country needs an enema.

Thanks. How kind. They've had Dear Leader. What can I be? Dear Sister perhaps. Not a role I'd relish, I'm afraid so don't all club together to buy me a one way ticket to North Korea.

Does he had a bride? If they want a 4th generation blood leader then he needs to get breeding really.

However my pointing out that in the UK if you speak with a certain accent or have certain A level grades or wear XYZ clothes is likely to advantage you is just stating a fact as much as if you're fat you tend to earn less and if you're as short as I am you tend to earn less too.

I believe that having a Geordie accent is an advantage, most people consider it warm, reassuring and lovely to listen to. I certainly do.

(that's my nudge in the favour of sexy geordie birds lyke)

Just because you are a short arse shouldn't mean you earn less money - look at bernie ecclestone, alan sugar and richard hammond amongst others. Success comes in all shapes and sizes. Winston Churchill wasn't exactly skinny either and Richard Branson had no A levels and Janet street porter has an accent which I dont think is too easy on the ear...

I am afraid that all studies show that taller men earn more. Of course there are exceptions.

In China some women (it's always women who mutilate themselfves for men across this planet, hardly ever the other way round) have their legs broken and then extended to make them taller.

Call Centre workers with certain accents do well. I think much depends if you want to own the call centre or be on its board or sit at the desk taking the calls or clean its floors as to which accent might be right for each task.
