Hi, Can people think of a good name for a "like" button, that will add to a count on posts ("27 people like this") and add a note on your wall ("Admin likes a post by Xyz about 'Some topic'".) That is, a button which says you think this post was worthwhile and worth reading. "Like" isn't a good word for this. For example, "Admin likes a post by John saying 'My sub died today'". Does "flag" sounds too negative? Flagging a post sounding too like reporting it? Some other word like that? Thanks, Admin Remember: it's only a website

"Share" sounds really good! It needs to be a single word really.
Keep the suggestions coming Thanks again, Admin Remember: it's only a website!

I thought of Acknowledge, but that's a bit dull so had a look for something along those lines here. http://thesaurus.com/browse/Acknowledge I'm quite taken with 'Bear' for some reason, but I don't think it would be quite right, which is a terrible shame. I noticed 'Salute' as well but that wasn't quite right either, but then I noticed 'Hail' and that seemed better and quite appropriate for the weather but wouldn't be as appropriate in the summer. Can you tell I'm bored and have nothing better to do with my life?

If you like share then how about just '+'. You miss off the 1 and get it even shorter than Google. And + doesn't really mean anything specific in this way and so would have meaning based upon the post. Can you tell I'm bored and have nothing better to do with my life?
