A lot of it about lately.

Sounds vagely medical.

A peeling back and a peering in.

Uooooooooo. *shudders*

Its the winter nights I tell you, we're getting pent up and broody. Winter; a time for endings, and therefore reflection. Just remember though, paganistically - the earth wil turn and summer will come again. Meanwhile take up a new hobby to distract yourself from too much introspection - winter is also the time when ghosts walk.

I've just started to take my cooking to the next level. The Next Level. Better ingredients and more interesting recipes, new impliments required, greater pride in my workstation, more satisfaction from deep CLEANING, more time spent in food preperation - so that it becomes majestic, like a form of meditation - and lots of little easy flowing pleasures abounding, like aromas floating past your nose in a busy kitchen. These things I shall dwell on, and dwell in, during This Spell of Winter.

Oooooooooo. 'This Spell of Winter'. I should have used that for my blog title.

Takes me back...

Takes me back to a large cave and a flickering fire, shadows dancing on the cave walls...But, enough reminiscing about my past life as a shaman in Neolithic Central Europe.

Where was I...?

Did I even HAVE a point?

Who knows...Who knows.

*shakes head sadly*

Advent is a time for introspection and preparation anyway. (I'm only saying that to annoy the pagan in you; not that you get annoyed by anything, of course).

Sometimes Frankie...there is no point. And sometimes...that is just fine.
