This is the full brief: 'Eyebags' - Casting Brief The part is for two lead girls for a music video for UK rock band Our Man in the Bronze Age. We need two girls aged 20-35, slim build, with a striking look, brooding stares and the ability to project powerful emotions of hate and love onto the screen, in a subtle and believable non-ham way. Preferably with some film experience, certainly with a performance background. They should have no qualms about partial nudity in front of a film crew or kissing another girl. The girls appear as the central motif in the form of two opposing fighters in an underground, elite fight-club, watched by an eclectic and eccentric cast of surreal characters. The whole feel is that of an underground rebel war, in a makeshift arena, between two warring sides - one blood red, one grubby blue, ala Gangs of New york. The girls are seen prepping for the fight in each corner, getting their hands wrapped and strange symbols painted on to their body in red and blue correspondingly. Their costumes consist of grubby white vest tops stained with the colours of their gang, denim jeans- maybe ripped off at the thigh, and stained sashes on their arms or as a headband. They glare at each other and mouth a few lines of the song. They then come into the centre and square up to each other. Strong looks of hatred and impending violence from each girl as we think they are about to rip each others throats out. As the fight starts they run together and instead of punching- they embrace in a kiss. This develops into a very physical passionate entwining of bodies and hands tearing at each others clothes as water falls from above and washes the red and blue body paint down their skin and into a purple puddle on the floor.
