You can still have a dominate side but know nothing about canes, or indeed be submissive and no nothing about being restrained. Everyone has something they would like to learn to do. www.Bdsmandfetishmentor.co.uk Pro dom/me & Training / Mentoring services available. I am not unwilling to learn, explore and improve. I am unwilling to pay £150 an hour to do so.

Almost belongs on the Activism board I'd think. any idea how much that much advertising would cost? A huge coup for public acceptance I think - it has a large readership. "Wisdom begins in wonder” (Socrates)

Ah loves the metro.... are they still linked to the Mail? [pi] ...It seemed like a good idea at the time...

This isn't the first time the Metro has featured a BDSM related article: http://www.metro.co.uk/lifestyle/219129-the-worl... me thinks the editor has a kinky bone in his body, perhaps... There's a fire in you that I like; I'll detroy it, but I like it...

Yes lets all cheer the Metro, celebrate its editorial independence, and quietly forget its owners are the racist, homophobic shitbags resposnible for one of the most offensive publications in the UK. (and yes I will repeat this every time someone links an apparently pro-bdsm metro article)

I don't think we're celebrating the metro's editorial independence. It is worth celebrating a story like this appearing in a popular and widely read newspaper; a story which normalises consensual BDSM and makes it harder for politicians and other authority figures to outlaw it. The impact of the publication is far more important for this evaluation than it's editorial stance or our moral evaluation of it. We don't need to be persuaded anyway. It's the message which matters, not the paper's editorial stance, nor it's use or non-use of recycled paper or renewable sources. I don't like the Metro, but I can still celebrate the fact that a message like this gets out in such a dramatic way into the public domain; it's of absolutely massive significance in PR terms. Whilst some people disagree with the owners of the newspaper and what they stand for. The Metro has a very consistant positive stance for people who are into BDSM, I think this should be applauded! We want positive press, don't we? Compare that to notw and the bloody trash they used to shove.

Yes it's nice that they had a sort of pro article, but the content was rather vague, the reporter was obviously vanilla and a bit scared. Her outfit wad a little lacklustre too, corset didn't fit. Could've done better |
