The venue is so good, I think it deserves its own blog ![]()
Having planned to go along for about a year and never quite got around to it, I'd heard positive things about Romeos, but I was still very pleasantly surprised.
The venue is on an industrial estate, and as I drove in, I wasn't expecting anything luxurious. I couldn't have been more wrong. The venue is similar to exodus, in that it has lots of rooms with different themes. They're all kitted out to a really high standard.
There's a couple of social areas with chairs and sofas, a bar area with a dancefloor and then a plethora of play rooms. I may have missed some out, but there's a school room complete with old wooden desks, three (?) rooms with beds or such like, at least one with a lockable door. I think there are four rooms with standard dungeon type equipment in them, and another that was done up for wax play, but may be a medical type room ordinarily.
There's also some amazingly well done graffiti type artwork on the walls of one corridor that depicts bondage scenes.
The point of this blog? Bristol City Council are going to start forcing Romeos to pay £8,000 a year for some kind of adult entertainment license, so we need to make sure Romeos is supported to keep it going! I'll definitely be going back.
