He's ridiculously nice to me too, which is the only reason the emotional masochism works for us. I know he cares about me, he tells me all the time that I'm beautiful etc and I think the absolute world of him.
If we didn't have the nice/soppy stuff as well (the sort of things that make me feel amazing and special etc) all he would be doing is destroying my confidence, and then you're into the realms of actual abuse. Edited 15 Dec 11, 11:05 PM by maso_miss
