Re Vampire Gloves, if you're in the habit of 'playing away', buy a few pairs - they're difficult to clean and impossible to sterilise. They're overpriced everywhere as it's a niche market being sold to so expect to pay around £30 for a £5 pair of driving gloves with bits of wire poking through. (ETA - A stockist, v. reliable: http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=11497 ) I make my own by turning some black cloth gloves inside out, mounting some drawing pins on strips of duct tape. Press the pins through the gloves, adhesive side against the cloth and turn back out the right way. After play, I throw the strips of pins away, wash the gloves and steam iron. I have a set of the pretty gothic ones from Freak Club Wear. They're really comfortable and easy to control compared to the cat claws, whole finger claws and gloves I've tried. Very popular with everyone I've used them on, and gorgeous too, a good investment.
