each memo should be concidered for it's merit's,, if its a snotto gram, a simple ,,, really, quite,, are you sure,,as a replie, can be annoying but also encouraging the the other to send more,, i try to answer all memo's but on saying that i do somtime's simply miss memoing back when i get a load come in correspondance, the simple answer is,, if it's a crappo memo,, you can have fun with it ,, or simply block the offending party, Please excuse crap spelling cause i,m rubbish | ||

I don't get many unsolicited memos ( oh sob sob, poor me...) but when I do, I reply according to context. If it is the result of a post of mine, I'll reply in keeping with the memo, intelligent memo gets intelligent reply, if complimentary gets thanks, if rude, gets ignored. A random memo, particularly those I know have been sent to others or are one-liners, gets ignored. There's no reason why you should reply to unsolicited memos, any more than you would to junk mail. be a switch, double your fun | ||

As the others have said, reply to the context. Though if rude then ignore and block works as well. I have always assumed manners should prevail even in electronice media. But somehow this seems to be forgotten. So that people can afflcit themsleves and upset people when they wouldn't do in real life being to cowardly. Good memo's are a joy to recieve though. As you do not seem to think very highly of him, by the way you described him, bung him on ignore. He doesn't know you, or else you wouldn't be asking this question, so what have you got to lose? I have the perfect accent for conflict resolution, shame about the personality. | ||
