As one who is failing at the "couch to 5 K" jogging programme, I think a class a day is just bonkers. LOL (eta I have a bit of an excuse for failing it, as Im supposed to be doing with someone else who never wants to do it - AND it's dead boring.) @Play_Space - Next party is Friday, January 6, 2012 and the first Friday of every month!

I have no idea what that is. I just know that my noose keeps ne conpany when I'm feeling unloved, although it's antler things get in the way. Can you tell I'm bored and have nothing better to do with my life?

**I'M BAAAAACK** I am coughing like a smoker... Thought I was going to die 25 minutes in... Walked out of their exhilarated after doing the whole hour.
Awesome high energy class. What kept me going was the instructor screaming at us to let go and get our controlled punches into the face of those we would like to put on their butts! I had done some boxing work with my PT previously so I managed the technique without a problem (being a Geordie does help too Going back tomorrow to do another one. The reason I am doing a class a day is because I am a fat lazy trollop when it comes to the gym. I feck arse around and do not do it properly. So if i walk into a class I cannot mess about because it makes me look like...a fat lazy trollop. It is not what you say or do but the way you say or do it

*cheerleads* You can do it! Christ, if a bird like me can do it then anyone can - and I'm the same as you; classes allow me to push myself (or, depending on the class, be pushed) far harder than I'd ever do on a crosstrainer.
Good luck RD "The less said about life's sores, the better."

I'm sure you'll survive. However, if you do need someone to give you the kiss of life and massage your chest, just let me know Gary xxx. Everyone who lives dies, but not everyone who dies has truly lived.

You, my dear, are my inspiration. I have watched you transform over the past year and by hell I want some of that too. One good thing is I am now inspiring my daughter. She joined the gym this morning and had her induction. She wants to drop a minimum of 2 stone for her next dress fitting in March. She does not eat breakfast but called me all excited that she had bought porridge for the first time (as I am now eating it for breakfast again) but held off on the All Bran lol. All is good, all is very very good. It is not what you say or do but the way you say or do it
