Hi All
Just wondered if any of you enjoy Lebanese Chateau Musar from the winery of Gaston Hochar?? I find it an excellent Christmas day wine!!

Well I have seen it in Majestic and also Sainsburys but best looking online for a seller near where you live

It's a true wonder of the wine world but be aware that the Musar Gaston Hochar is the true marvel whilst Hochar Pere et Fils is a slightly inferior version. Still pretty damn good though. "He took a single sip of her pain and found it exquisite" | ||

Lebanese wine is generally so underrated, especially when you consider how old the history of viticulture is in that part of the world.

One of my absolute favourite wines and I love giving it as a gift, as people are often surprised at how good Lebanese wine can be .. (don't know why though!!) Sainsbury's used to stock it spasmodically and there is an importer/agent in the UK who was very useful .. It's a beautiful world, just enjoy it. | ||
