Standing in front of the shop, the clean, clear, cool glass showing your reflection... move in closer, see your breath hit the pane, obscuring your view of the delights inside. Press your nose against the hard, cold surface and strain to look at all the good things inside; safe, secure and unobtainable because... the door is firmly locked against you.
You can only stand and stare, wanting to touch, hold, own... possess. The treasure, we so very much desire, out of reach but, temptingly, so very near.
