These kind of look-at-me-I'm-a-really-morally-superior-person-bec ause-I-condemn-racism posts always make me smile because I would posit that we are all 'racists' if we put our family first since we are acting preferentially on the basis of genetics. Whether you agree with the Daily Mail's views or not they have a right to air them... I don't believe that freedom extends to libel or invasion of privacy incidentally. The curious aspect of the Leveson Inquiry is that, I believe, it is really about preventing the rich and the powerful having their hypocrisy exposed... and the main factor is the exposure of the MP's expenses scandal... British servicemen and woman lives being put at risk due to lack of funding whilst the MP's were lining their pockets!!!! And whilst I'm at it... if New Labour believe so much in 'Equality and Diversity' why have they yet to elect a woman or an individual from an ethnic minority? Funny that...a political party having one rule for itself and another for the people!!!!! You can now all get outraged and indignant... lot's of links to articles... good... give you something to do whilst the country, holed beneath the waterline, slowly sinks, like the Titanic, in the Atlantic!!!! |
