I don't understand whats wrong with someone asking a question about it here and having the opportunity to follow on a conversation about it. Isnt this about kink? Or are we stuck in a set criteria and can only raise specific questions? (Edited as wrote in a rush)

I Googled it: Apparently you need to consult a Marketing Book by Phillip Kotler for the answer

Two points really.Firstly Sharia comes from a system that systematically deprives 50% of the population of their basic human rights on the basis of some medieval fairy story. Secondly I have grave doubts about the sexual probity of doing this to people and just to what extent the majority of the participants might get their rocks off on stoning a woman to death. Dubious in the extreme IMHO.

Off topic slightly I know but have to agree. The word google is now firmly entrenched in any of my converstations with people who ask me questions..for example..I was on this bus once and a person asked me do I know how to get to such and such place..a quick..have you googled it. Personally I just think most people want affirmation of what is just possibly a rhetorical question.

Well it seems to have inflamed and aroused emotionally charged debate amongst quite a few people, so I would say that's your answer. No need to Google it.

Interesting. YKIOK clearly has its limits. I was going to have some fun posting links to some of the Ultraviolence posts but it looks like the entire group has been disappeared. Members too I wonder ? Sorry, forget I asked. Reverse the sexes and it sounds like a guide for the Dominant woman. Having problems ? Firstly tell him off. If there's no change he gets to sleep on the floor or the couch. Finally if he hasn't improved you'll have to beat him - don't break bones or leave marks though. Perhaps they got the sexes wrong in translation. Some people take this religion business very seriously - stoning to death, bombs in market places and at shrines type seriously. So arguments touching on religion have a degree of gravamen not found everywhere inBDSM. There are I guess three levels of acceptance: - 1) Is it acceptable to sexually fantasise about activities that if "real" would be illegal or unacceptable for the majority in this country ? 2) Is it acceptable to stimulate these fantasies by using material whereby these activities have actually non consensually occurred even though the viewer has had no participation whatsoever in their commission ? 3) Is it acceptable to undertake the activities regardless of the law or society's opinion ? Well, since the sharia isnt that keen on consent, I think the answer to that would be "no". "Class is the impartial, consistent display of emotional integrity."

Religious violence across the ages has been responsible for devising some of the most ingenious torments beyond the penalties demanded of any social, legal or moral infraction. Apparently this is because the meter-out is trying to reach beyond the body into the soul. My play is mostly informed by historical episodes like the Inquisition (hence the soubriquet), the Witch Trials and Celtic sacrificial rites. In these latter godless days, the new faiths are politics and science, i.e. the left/ right poles that seem to meet and 'eugenics' (be careful, DNA researchers). I feel queasy at the sight of certain uniforms and play but I understand the attraction. And now a new revival of religious extremism accompanied, as always, with those ultra certanties and the desire to communicate their discontent to the 'next world'. I am sure that the actions of fundamentalists in America and the East, given the balm of time, may well perk up a few jaded imaginations. Guantanamo is already feeding some play. As always though, we merry kinksters are colouring our scampers with simulated, low-key versions. No-one dies; all are enthusiastic volunteers; all walk away with mucky, satisfied grins on their faces and return for more later.
